Dulce & Sabrosa is the partnership of Chef Kat Perry and Cake Designer Suli Perry to provide the best in full service food and event production. We like to make it personal by working with you to create a menu that fits your taste, budget, and style. Our signature is to always provide exquisite food, expert coordination, and gracious service. We are committed to locally sourced produce and the freshest ingredients which ensures food that is exceptional in taste and quality.
Katherine Perry is the Executive Chef at Sabrosa Catering. She started in the business at 12 years old bussing tables and washing dishes at a friend’s family owned pizza shop, but her passion for cuisine started with her grandmother’s big holiday feasts. Katherine graduated from culinary school in 2007 with 5 years of restaurant experience and has worked with quite a few nationally recognized chefs. Most of them are known for their true to the ingredient, less-is-more style of cooking and utilizing local, seasonal produce and meats.
Katherine's passion for cooking comes from genuinely loving to see people’s reaction when they get to enjoy something she makes, whether it’s a simple cocktail party with one-bite appetizers or a full five course meal.
Suli Perry is the Pastry Chef and Cake Designer at Dulce Designs. She was born in Guerrero, Mexico and first moved the the United States at the age of 8. Suli started in the restaurant business when she was 17 in order to help her family out, but her passion for cake design really began when she was 13. She would bake cakes for her younger siblings on each of their birthdays. It started with the boxed convenience store cake mix and some candies from the local gas stations added to them and make them special.
These fond memories lead Suli to become a pastry chef and cake designer with 10 years of experience. She started in her childhood kitchen with little boxes of pre-mixed cakes to making cakes from scratch and bringing to life the ideas inspired by each customer.
